Ring Based PLL IP Products
Silicon Creations offers a family of ring oscillator VCO
based PLL designs. This architecture is optimal for
low-power, low area applications. However, it can also
be used for very low jitter applications if the power
consumption is not critical.
The wide tuning range of the ring based VCO makes
this architecture ideal for designs where a single PLL
is used to generate multiple widely-spaced
frequencies. This design is currently available from
65nm through 130nm technologies in various
foundries.
