Silicon Creations Ring-based PLL IP Products

Silicon Creations offers a family of highly programmable ring oscillator based PLL designs. The wide programmability allows a single PLL macro to be used for all clocking requirements on most chips. Separate instances of the same IP block can be used simultaneously for both ultra low power and low jitter applications, simply by modifying the programming settings.

This design is currently available from 28nm through 130nm technologies in various foundries including TSMC, Global Foundries, IBM, SMIC, and ST.
